    Thanks Mike,

I know that You're not wired for Stereo. ;-)

The nice thing about using a BBS is that a person can read the messages
'when' they have the time to do it.

I hope that You had an enjoyable trip.

It's good to get away from it all sometimes.

    Glad to have You back.

Were You gone when the 'Big Burp' on Synchronet/Dovenet occured last
    week?

    Ed,
I tried adding CYBER-DANGER and didn't get any matches. I tried shortening
it to CYBER and got three echoes with that word in them, but they were all Russian or Chinese. Are you sure that is a FIDO network echo, and not an
    echo on a different network?

    Yes, I did. And thanks!

If I wasn't here, I got back to get some of the aftermath. I know it
probably caused a lot of dupes on the WWW/ftp server board. The packets
for the old GT system were too large for it to process, so I had to delete
them to get mail flowing again.

I would have warned users about it but, by the time I knew about it, it was
too late to prevent anything. ;-)

    Mike,

In the WINDOWSA echo August Abolins mentioned it in message # 7682 this
    month .

Jean Parrot mentioned it in August 2011 in message # 7961 .
Later in August 2011 the message numbers changed to 72xx . ;-)

Both of them use EasternStar.info for their BBS with a Newsreader.

It's no big deal if You can't find the echo, sorry to put You to a lot
    of trouble.

    Ed,
I found it listed in an online FIDO echolist. Apparently, it is pretty
new. My hub is usually pretty good at adding new echos. I am going to try
to get it as soon as it shows up.

    Thanks Mike,

In Dec 2009 I saved a list of echos/conferences from Doc's Place BBS.

    Cyber-Danger wasn't in that list.

February 2011 is the date on my DOCS.CNF file and it has CYBER-DANG in
    it.

In the .QWK I got just now, I got a message from Holger Granholm so the
problem that Paul Quinn talked about in the message that I Forwarded to
You looks like it has been taken care of.

Thanks Again for Hunting for the CYBER-DANGER echo.
