Mike,
I've been reading a .QWK packet that I kept, it has the MN_COMPUTE sub where there ware a lot of old messages in it.
I've been reading it a little section at a time to get through the 400+ messages in that sub.
Recently I've been marking down on a scrap piece of paper what message number that I stopped reading at instead of trying to "remember it".
When I open the .QWK at another time, the sub is Highlighted (of course) sin it was the last message area read in the packet.
When I press I O Enter to Index and Sort the messages by number I've noticed another strange thing (Oh No Not Again!!!!!). ;-)
In the far Left the Asterick "*" mark for messages already read
increases the mark on the next 9 messages as already being read, 9 above the number on my scrap paper.
Just another curiousity that I've noticed in the packet I receive from CCO and read in SLMR.
Nothing for You to worry about, I just thought I'd tell You what I've noticed just recently while reading messages in that 400+ message sub.
Thanks for All the help that You have provided me.

I think there is something that SBBS does that simply is not compatable with MR>SLMR. I have had numerous odd things happen while trying to read packets wi MR>SLMR. The packets from the GT BBS are just fine, but the SBBS (web) ones ar MR>all messed up. I have to use MM to read them.
Just FYI, I think those 400+ messages include many dupes! One of the other MR>boards burped some dupes out onto Micronet about a week or so ago!
