In the upper right, you will see "Ed Vance" and a down arrow. If you click there, as if you were going to log off, you should also see an option
called "Mail." If you click on it, it will bring up your private messages.

I have occasionally tapped that "Mail" option but never saw anything there. Just now tapped it and waited a bit this time in case I hadn't gave it time enough to respond before and still it is blank just like "Ed's Head" (C)TM.

As my saying goes: "Here on earth computers always win because they have inside information.".

    Thanks for the help (again).

Tried again before signing off, still blank.
Even tapped button with check mark inside the square (whatever that option meant) and tapped all three tabs still nuttin.

Unlike with older BBS softwares, Synchronet won't let the sysop "peek" at
what might be waiting. It is also possible that someone tried to send something that bounced, meaning that you don't really have anything waiting.

IIRC, if you actually do, there will be a little icon or number up there somewhere near your name or maybe next to the "Mail" link.

I can't remember who sent the netmail to me.
    Didn't write it down. DUH!

Won't be long B4 I can be comfortable again using CCO BBS.

This is a experience for me having to scroll all the way down a thread to read newer messages.

I am just spoiled from years of having the BBS keep track of the last message read.

You probably have spells where the BBS software is running right along fine, and then have to learn new tricks after getting an update .

    Thanks for keeping CCO alive.

I noticed that I did write down the netmail address.

I think I read my chicken scratching correctly.

Is that any help for You to find the netmail?

Yeah, that web interface is not my favorite. The older one didn't keep
track of your last read messages either, though.

Most certainly so. This most recent upgrade has had a few new things and a
    few boo-boos in it. ;)

    Thanks for keeping CCO alive.

No problem. I usually enjoy it.

    Tried something new.
As You (probably) can see, I used capitolcityonline.net to sign on this log on. Just remembered today seeing that Address in older messages.

My thinking was it may have a different way of keeping track of messages.
Duh. You KNOW how I like to experiment.

I did a Duckduckgo search for capitolcityonline.net, as I always have done when going to a page I've never visited before just so I don't wind up at a duplicate website.
In the results list I saw 8bitboyz.com , looks like I have another place to have a looksee.
Also in the DDG list I saw Capital City Auctions.

    Search Engines are WONDERFUL!!!!!!!

Forgot to enclose capitolcityonline in quote marks in my DDG search.
I prob would not seen those auction sites if I had done "what's proper" when making a search.
    Double DUH this time.

    Checking Email now, Thanks.

Did You see the Email I sent after not finding yours?
    Have a nice weekend.
I carry mine on my shoulders, it is called "Ed's Head" (C)TM

Yes. Were you able to find the message here on the board instead? I sent
it to the "board e-mail" and not the interent e-mail.
